ALEXANDRA LOEWE - Mezzo Soprano

Alexandra trained as a singer with Anthony Rolfe Johnson, one of Britain's finest tenors, and with Penny MacKay at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She studied Music at Birmingham University, Arts Management at City University and did a post grad at the GSMD in Performance and Communication Skills. Alexandra has pursued a career as music workshop leader, music education project manager and voice teacher in schools and community settings, teaching children and adults of all abilities and disabilities and has led singing sessions with elderly people with dementia in several care homes in London for many years.

Alexandra has sung at weddings and funerals across the UK, in Spain and in Italy. She was the soloist at special liturgical celebrations before the Holy Father in Rome and the Cardinal in Westminster Cathedral and St James' Spanish Place. She has given recitals for private dinners and corporate entertainment at exclusive venues in London, across the UK and abroad. Alexandra is a current or past member of Electric Voice Theatre, Polyphony, Ex Cathedra, Joyful Company of Singers, Ilustra, Ashmolean Voices and has performed countless choral concerts, at charity events, for commercial recordings and with her vocal ensemble group, Psallite Singers.
